Prior reviewers complained of inadequate packaging and product damage upon arrival. It appears that Sanyo and/or Amazon listened and addressed the issue. I received by fridge in Feb 2011, and it came through in great shape and completely undamaged. The box was sturdy and each side of the fridge was further protected by a ½ inch layer of styrofoam.

The fridge itself works well, looks nice and runs quietly. It’s perfect for the office, a dorm room or a man cave. I really like the vertical can dispenser in the door. Amazon’s price was better than other places I checked.

Thumbs up for the Sanyo SR-A2480M 2-2/5-Cubic-Foot Compact Mid-Size Refrigerator, Platinum! I think I couldn’t be happier than I am now after I have purchased this little fridge!

If you look for something rather inexpensive and handy for additional storage of beverages and food, if you don’t have much space to spare and if you are desperate for an energy-efficient appliance, this is a must-to-buy device just for you!

My profession sometimes requires me to work late, and since my study is located in the attic I used to go downstairs all the time to get something to drink, or to eat, which, of course, disturbed me from work and woke up my family during the night. With Sanyo SR-A2480M Refrigerator I don’t have to worry any more about these inconveniences. This free-standing small fridge is the very best that you can get if you need an extra place to refrigerate your drinks, milk for the coffee maker or snacks. It measures 17-3/4 by 18-5/8 by 24-7/8 inches, so it doesn’t take much space in a two-by-four room.

So all I was looking for was an extra space to store products, but I can definitely say that I gained a lot more. After I took a close look at my new purchase I realized that this was all I could dream of. The device is really far ahead. It has two adjustable slide-out shelves and a half-width freezer compartment that can serve different functions and add much to your convenience. Moreover, there is a vertical can dispenser. And I just love this thing because I can get the most of the space. It’s awesome! Besides, much to my surprise, the fridge is equipped with a reversible door that you can open either on the left side, or on the right side, whichever suits you better. The feet of the fridge can be adjusted in order to level the device on the surface.

Although this model is a little bit more expensive than a mini-fridge, it definitely has a lot of advantages over it. And as a somewhat bonus you get a recessed handle and an ice-cube tray.

I was also very excited about the fact that the fridge runs quietly and I can adjust the temperature myself with a user-friendly dial. My work requires concentration and I sure wouldn’t appreciate loud noise of a refrigerator.

So don’t hesitate a second to purchase the appliance, and you will not be disappointed. This small at first sight device will live up to your expectations and might even surpass them. I am very happy that I have purchased it. It saves my time sparing me from the need to go downstairs to refresh my drink or to get milk for my coffee. It also spares me an effort to go out of my way adjusting or cleaning the device. And on top of all that it has an impeccable design and a smooth back! So I just love the look of it! And so far it seems to be working quite well. So, I highly recommend you purchase Sanyo Compact Mid-Size Refrigerator since not only will it be handy, but it will blend in well with any interior design.
